Controller&rsquo;s Office: Assistance with questions about payroll, payments, and general ledger.
Budget and Finance Office: For answers to questions about budget planning and modelling; financial data analysis and reporting; grant-application; and transactions such as staff and student payroll, reimbursements, budget transfers, and purchases.

Finance ensures that SPU has effective financial controls in place and that monies are spent in accordance with the University’s mission. Finance oversees the Office of the Controller, Payroll, and Accounts Payable.

Please reach out to Finance with any questions about faculty, staff, and student payroll; accounts receivable (including setting up new ways to receive payments), accounts payable (including queries about contracts and purchasing), and financial analysis and reporting.

Although Finance does not directly handle student finances and tuition, all other University business comes through this area. Finance reports to the Office of the VP for Business and Finance.
